Although it is not my favourit read material, and i have read better, i surelly appreciate the importance of this series. It was one of my first books, and i have to say that these were the books that sparkled my interest in reading. Its a very exciting and catchy story that sticks you to it no matter what.

JK Rowling has created a cliche. I think it has something to do with accessibility and marketability more than talent but she is still one of the best authors I've read, besides the weird tone change that afflicts the later books.

What can i say, more then 300 million copies sold worldwide and translated into more then 47 languages throughout the world, thats something that NO BOOK SERIES had ever done and the number of copies sold and languanges converted are only second to the Bible. And the seventh (last) book has not been released yet.Surely this is a clear sign of J.K Rowlings brilliance. In short JKR has managed to do what many great authors have failed to do, and thats driving children and adults away from their computer and television screens and actually read a book. Her writing style is simple yet very interesting and full of suspense. Whether you like her or not, i think the numbers speak for themselves.

Harry Potter is the best series since Lord of the Rings. They are personally my favorite reads.

Overall, out of all of her spectacular novels, I would give her a 9.5. She is probably my favorite author for many reason. She has this miraculous talent to put much detail into a novel, while keeping the reader interested. I have never been unsatisfied after reading one of her stories. When I was in third grade, my older brother convinced me to read her novels. Before then I had no interest in reading. But after I read them, I loved to read. And that is why I thank J.K. Rowling; not only for keeping me entertained, but to show me the spectacular fun of reading.

J.K.Rowling is the best writer of our age and has writen the most exciting series of books ever. She has been well recognised for her work and is very well respected by people of all ages. those critics who think that her books should be baned because they're "evil" are obvioulsly "nuts".

J. K. Rowling is an evil writer who wants your children to worship Satan. Or so goes the general consensus. . . of morons. In reality, Rowling is one of the best youth-oriented writers in recent history (if not ever). What's even better is that her Harry Potter series is NOT just for kids. . .it can be enjoyed by anyone simply because the books are extremely well-written and exciting (except for some of the characters. . .KILL DOBBY!). Slap anyone who tells you wizardry = evil. Can't wait for Order of the Phoenix. . .

J.K. Rowling is the author of the Harry Potter series (duh!). The Harry Potter books are all great books, even better considering they're supposed to be children's books. The only problem is that the first two are a bit formulaic. All of those people who want her books banned are idiots who have never even read her books.
