| Goosebumps is, has been and will always be one of my favorite book series. As soon as I started reading a Goosebumps book, I immediately got addicted to it. I've read many of them and never got bored nor tired. In addtion, R.L. Stine has always been one of my favorite authors. I've read most his books and loved each and every one of them. |

| I started reading the series when I was in the 9th grade back in 1997 or 1998 reading the books in the order that R.L. Stine wrote the books, checking out four of the books at the local library at a time. I would read one of the books in a day. My mom said that she got this weird feeling that I shouldn't be reading the books and had me stop reading the series. In 2002, I started reading the books over again (even the ones that I had read before because I forgot what the book was about). My mom hasen't said anything about me reading the books and I really enjoy the books. I read really slow, and it could take me anywhere from a day to six weeks to read one of the books because some days, I don't feel like reading. I'm in the middle of reading book #23 "Return of the Mummy", and I really injoy it. I haven't read the other books from #24 to #62, but I plan on to. I hope to be done reading the series by or before the end of the year 2005 on December 31. If asked if I would recommend the series to someone to read, I would highly recommend the series. Not only this series, but every series that R.L. Stine wrote that I do plan on reading, too.
P.S. It is now Tuesday, March 20, 2007 and I haven't finished reading this series. I am now waiting to read book # 43 "The Beast from the East" and have read books 1-42 and now have a new goal of hoping that I get the books read by the end of December of 2010 which would be Friday, December 31, 2010. |

| I suppose I was the target age R.L.Stine was looking for when he began this series. From when I was 9 to whenever Goosebumps 2000 started I was an avid reader and I still have them. Some of them were excellant ideas, which if developed more would be terrifying even to adult readers. |
