All of D Adams works have his tradmark "Utterly Ludicrous" humor. In the HHG series he lets it run amuck, and it expands to fill an entire universe. Great companions to the series are the original BBC recordings.

The definitive series of mankind. Read it, love it, know it by heart.

Great humour, great language. If you got a sense for sarcasm, then you'll definetely like these books. However, the first books are the best ones; the last ones are loosing a bit of quality, in my opinion.

One of the best book series out there. Don't be fooled into thinking its only for science fiction buffs - if you're able to read, you have no excuse for not experiencing these books. Who can forget Marvin the paranoid android, Ford's perpetual lunacy, or the answer to the Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything?
