| I started reading the books when I was in the third grade in 1992 or 1993 not in the order that the books were written. How I got started was when my third grade teacher gave us tickets for being good or doing something nice and at the end of the day, I would put the ticket(s) into a drawing and whoever's name got drawn got to go into a large bucket and pick out a prize. One day, my name got picked and I got to look into the large bucket and when I found a Choose Your Own Adventure Book, I grabbed it and started reading the book and fell in love with the book. I became instereted. Every now and then, I would read one of the book in the series but not in the order that the books were written. Not until 2001 or 2002 when I decided to read the books in the order. I started getting the books at the local library and I've been reeadig the books ever since. I'm now at book #24 and hope to have books #25 to #184 read in the order by or before the year 2020 on December 31. |
