This is the story of Ella, a beautiful, enterprising young woman who never lets anyone or anything stand in the way of her journey to success. Emigrating from Ireland to America in the late 1800s after the loss of her unborn child, young Ella manages three self-started businesses, three husbands and five children; but the years turn her into an embittered shrew.
