Summary
:
The imaginative ingenuity of science fiction writers isn't confined to figuring out new suggestions for saving the world or escaping from a black hole; sometimes our authors' extrapolations are much more modest, as for instance in this story of a future sport of flying kites. But these are certainly no ordinary kites—nor are the people who fly them quite the sort you meet every day.
