Mallory has come to the Mohonk Mystery Weekend to relax, to hang out with his fellow mystery writers, meet his adoring fans, spend some quality time with his lovely lady friend Jill. And have some fun playing the part of a suspect in an imaginary murder.

But when Mallory witnesses a brutal killing, the fun is over. Cut off from the outside world by a sudden snowstorm, surrounded by a dozen possible suspects, Mallory has to think like one of his heroes, and solve the murder before the killer finds another victim.
