Summary (From the publisher):

When the Plaza Division got a new police captain, the word went out: Clean up the Strip or every cop on the vice squad gets busted back to walking a beat.

So Sergeants Skip Kawano and Lou Michikowski set out to pin some evidence on George Reitman, head of the vice machine. Their only lead was a five-by-seven photograph - the type usualyy sold under the counter - picturing three girls and a man who worked for Reitman.

One of the girls was Marian Bryce, a sloe-eyed dish with a yen for booze. Then there was Julie Roth, a B-girl who would do anything for money. Before Kawano and Michikowski could contact them, they were murdered.

That left Lea Patrick, a strange beatnik type and the only one who could lead the police to the cache of illegal films. But Leah ran, and Kawano and Michikowski knew they had to find her before Reitman did - or die trying.
