I never wanted to be a bricklayer like my old man. I figured my terrific build was meant for something better than laying bricks, so I got a job as handyman in this nutty household.

The maid - I could take her or leave her, and I did both. The housekeeper I didn't dig - she had this lush body any man would give his right arm to enjoy, but she wasted her time pawing and kissing Mrs. Garland, our boss. Not that Mrs. Garland - Colleen - was queer, because she wasn't, and she proved it to me several times.

That's what started the trouble - I couldn't "take her or leave her" like I could the maid - and there was the problem of what to do about Colleen's husband...
