Summary
(From the publisher):
Quarry knew the set-up. The stake-out man glued himself to the victim for a few weeks, then the hit man moved in for a clean kill. A nice, tight partnership. But Quarry was in business - hitting the hit men and saving a life - for a price - only the minute Quarry got inside the victim's gambling den, he knew this set-up was all wrong. There were too many hit men, including a pair of bosomy young ladies. The ladies were easy to love but hard to kill, and when things began bouncing off Quarry's head, he knew he was an odds-on favorite to wind up a loser.
