Summary (From the publisher):

Weddings are no fun for kids! Anna would much rather go swimming or ride her bike. Besides, not every girl wants to be a flower girl.

While playing hide-and-seek one day at Grandma's house, Anna overhears Mom and Grandma talking about Aunt Julie's wedding. That's when she finds out that Aunt Julie wants Anna to be her flower girl! But Anna just wants to hide until the wedding is over. Up in the attic, she watches from her secret spot while a gown and veil are pulled out of old boxes. She can't help noticing the way they look and feel. She wants to try them on, too. Soon Anna begins imagining what her own wedding might be like. Maybe she's changing her mind about weddings. But don't worry -- she'd still rather play outside or go swimming than be a flower girl!
