Summary (From the publisher):

SHARK'S ROAR...

It was a rousing noise that echoed with the splintering crunch of the two vessels colliding. Then, with a ferocious howl designed to demoralize the Spaniards, Shark leaped to the enemy deck. His pistol roared twice, and the Spanish captain, gorgeous in silks and taffetas, spun around, flinging up his arms. He crashed to the deck.

Instantly Shark hurled the empty pistol at the head of another officer, dragged out his rapier, and went racing into the fight. At his back the buccaneers screeched and yelled like a pack of devils. Their inflamed faces and glaring eyes would have struck mortal terror into any man. Men yelled and graoned, and smoke billowed across the deck. Overside the sea heaved, waiting for the bodies to splash down into their graves. Steel scraped and rang against steel...

It was all a confused slash and thrust, a rush and a yell, a great wave of action exploding across the deck of the Spanisher. This fight was taking more blood than usual!

In a momentary yell between his raging onslaughts, Shark wondered why the Spaniards were putting up such a ferocious battle. Was there something special about this ship after all?
