A mysterious epidemic that transforms ordinary citizens into crazed zombies has turned the country upside down. Fearing for the safety of his fiancée miles away, Gabriel and his friend Jake set out on a desperate search to find her. On their way, they rescue a popular singer and her manager before running a military roadblock, which enrages the lieutenant in charge. After fleeing through the forest and an underground tunnel, the fugitives are eventually captured and imprisoned by the sadistic lieutenant. With assistance from their notorious cellmates, Gabriel, Jake and company manage to escape and embark on a tumultuous journey to finally discover the whereabouts of Gabriel's lost love, with the wily lieutenant secretly following their every move.
