A jolly London holiday is just what harried B&B hostess Judith McMonigle Flynn and her cantankerous cousin Renie need. But Piccadilly notwithstanding, what they're really looking forward is the restful weekend ahead of them at an actual English country manor. They find the estate taxing, however, what with vacationing relations crowding every nook and cranny of Ravenscroft House - while its awesomely aged mistress, Aunt Petulia, holds court. And when a box of poisoned sweets hastens the dour dowager's demise, Judith and Renie soon find themselves up to their American necks in a muck of murder most British. But the cousins are always game for a spot of amateur sleuthing, no matter which side of the pond they're on - as they set out to unearth a fatal family secret and unmask the culprit who was anti-Auntie enough to do the old girl in.
