Bed-and-breakfast hostess Judith McMonigle Flynn isn't exactly bellowing "Bravo!" over the news that obese, obnoxious opera star Mario Pacetti and his entourage intend to stay at the Hillside Manor. The world-class tenor is reputedly a renowned world-class pain-in-the-patootie who could easily eat Judith out of house and home. So when the puffed-up, would-be Pavarotti falls down dead on his tosca after inadvertently imbibing poison, accusing eyes turn to Judith and her amateur sleuthing partner, saucy cousin Renie. Now it's curtains for the cousins, unless they can unmask the real culprit responsible for the bloated buffoon's grand exit. And they must do so before a killer's final, fatal encore.
