In the year 2027 aliens with incredible powers kidnap the Earth, tearing her from orbit and plunging her into the abyss of freezing interstellar space. Humanity is helpless--and totally dependent upon the mysterious Pyramids, which once every five years create a new miniature sun to replace Earth's original star. Without its life-giving warmth, all mankind would die.
