Arizona tycoon Polk Pichard made a fortune selling a mine that had no gold in it, and Faro Blake would like to help himself to some of the loot - and maybe to Pichard's beautiful wife as well. Trouble is, Faro's old pal, Doc Prentiss, has a scam of his own that involves the lovely Mrs. Pichard - and a two-wheeled contraption called a bicycle. Then to further complicate matters, there's a blonde bombshell named Holly O'Devie who's got her own scheme for grabbing Pichard's ill-gotten gains.

Soon Faro's caught between a double-barrelled shotgun and O'Devie's twin beauties in a game where two's a very unlucky number!
