The scene is Eastern Europe just prior to the start of World War II. The Great Powers are maneuvering to guarantee themseves a supply of raw materials when the looming conflagration erupts. Kenton, a young British journalist becomes caught in their cross-fire, a pawn in a deadly game of espionage.
