Summary
(IBList user synopsis):
When small town car salesman Harry Maddox goes to the bank during a fire and discovers it empty, he hits upon a plan to rob it. Meanwhile, he simultaneously courts beautiful, innocent Gloria, the car lot’s loan manager, who is being mysteriously blackmailed by deadbeat Sutton, and carries on a steamy affair with Dolores, his boss’s brassy, voluptuous wife. After the heist, the sheriff hauls Maddox in because he’s new in town and turns up the heat. But when Dolores vouches for him, she has more in mind than just keeping him to herself.
