The Department was in a spot. In previous jobs it had discovered reasonably early who they were fighting. Now they knew of no one... Nor did they know what they were fighting about. All was nebulous, and, as yet, without point. Sudden death; an indecipherable but deadly organisation; a man of savagery who stopped at nothing...

But as the agents of Department Z of the British Intelligence followed the trail they realised that they were up against something bigger than ever before, and there was just one question uppermost in all their minds - would they be in time?
