Sasha is missing - kidnapped - and Marilith is wounded, unable to help her sister. Corvid, their friend and romance, steps in to heal Marilith, and try to rescue Sasha. But, all of it is part of a larger game of the gods, a game they are only barely aware of - and time is running out, as the gods are making their final moves in their game to decide the future.
