Sasha and Marilith set off to find Orissa, Sasha's childhood friend. Shortly, however, they find their quest will not be a simple one, as Orissa has been gone nearly two decades. They decide to ask Eddas Ayar for assistance in their quest, and both Eddas and Joy come along to help. But, a mistake by Marilith ends up casting the four of them back through time, to the last days of the Hyperboreans, and the destruction of the Great War of Devastation. Can even Eddas' might prevent them from being killed in the coming war, or is their destruction part of a larger plan of the gods?
