John Kendall is an author of travel/survival guides who aspires to be a novelist. Needing money to pay the bills, he agrees to write the biography of a racehorse trainer. Of course there are skeletons in the family closet and as Kendall begins to uncover them he must utilize his survival skills to the fullest.
