Summary
(From the publisher):
Me, Shell Scott, interested in the stock market? I wouldn't know a put or take option from a convertible debenture.
But this big industrialist had hired me handsomely to find out who was buying in a certain stock that should have been worthless, and why. So I took a nice, round, easily remembered figure - Doody's - hied me out to consult the only Big Board I knew anything about, the tote board at Hollypark, hoping I wouldn't come up with the shorts.
Oddly, this broke the case wide open, and soon everyone, including the fuzz, was off and running - in the wrong direction....
