Summary
(IBList user synopsis):
Dr. Marchand was the pivotal force in the creation of technology that allowed us to colonize the stars. But now it appears that an even better technology has been discovered, and Marchand wonders if he actually helped humankind at all.
With his consciousness "smithed" into a chimpanzee's body, Marchand will visit the Tycho Brahe (the starship that left earth so many years ago to colonize new worlds) and explore with its crew and colonists until they find a home.
