A day in Pinsk, like a day in any other city, begins properly with breakfast. But on this unusual morning, as shoe salesman Irv Irving settles down to his meal only to discover that he is missing something vitally important: his head. Irv's wife Irma, a practical woman, fashions a makeshift head out of old socks and a pillowcase and thus equipped, Irv roams the city in search of his most prized posession.
