Like many another sleepy English village, Ansby was preparing for the crusade to the Holy Land. Until the day a strange craft landed in a nearby pasture.

Suddenly, the inhabitants of Ansby found themselves embarked on a far different crusade... a crusade which would take them light years away from England and pit their pikes and battle-axes against the advanced technology of an alien super-power.
