Inez and Yulan leave the cradle of civilization behind and enter uncharted territory. On their journey, they start accumulating some traveling companions--a cute, harmless creature named Mong, a darkly beautiful, insolent Kyrette and a half-elf named Ariel. Sidetracked by Ariel's plight, Inez finds herself drawn to helping the half-elf, getting the entire group into some big trouble.
