Summary
:
Ageing Hap Collins has a premonition of disaster when his 'new' daughter Tillie takes to drugs and prostitution, and needs to be rescued. This means a trek to LaBorde, Texas and to Hootie Hoot, Oklahoma. On the road, their motley band expands to include an ex-Pentecostal preacher and a midget with attitude.
