Frankie and Devin have been transported by the library zapper gates once again, this time to Mark Twain's The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. The two class troublemakers take delight in meeting their match -- Tom, it turns out, is the original school slacker! They follow Tom, Huck, and Joe Harper around, in hopes of finding a lost page of their librarian's book. But they soon discover that all is not so calm on the lazy Mississippi when they witness a murder and join the unruly boys to foil a criminal's scheme.
