Summary :

Dark humor punctuates this SF-themed satire on advertising, media and pop culture. Boddekker is a copywriter for megalithic advertising agency Pembroke Hall Pangborn Levine and Harris. One evening he finds himself in the wrong part of town, surrounded by a street gang known as the Devils. To save his own life, he offers the Devils a starring role in his next commercial. When he is forced to keep his promise, the Devils are catapulted to fame. Unfortunately, you can take the boys out of the street, but you can't take the street out of the boys...
