"You ain't movin' any further out of this valley, Utley, than you are right now," Bret said, flat-voiced. "The next steps you'll take will be in hell," and he grabbed for his Colt.
In hot pursuit of Geronimo's warband, across the border in Mexico, Bret Lewis' patrol is ambushed by Caleb Utley and his gang of cattle-lifters. To hide his tracks, Utley makes the killings appear like the work of Geronimo's broncos. But, unfortunately for Utley, Bret kills ther breed who is scalping him, and then, when recovered from his wounds, sets off to hunt Utley down.
Finally, Bret catches up with Utley in the Arroya Colorados, New Mexico. With the aid of Roy Travis, a former sidekick of Billy the Kid, and two Apache army scouts, he sets out to reap his blood-for-blood reckoning on Utley and his gang.
