Summary
(From the publisher):
This deeply stirring tale tells of the violence and retribution that ensue after a horse trader is unfairly taxed by a local lord. An army is raised and war is declared on the lords, and eventually on the king, by the trader who becomes a local hero, even to Martin Luther.
