Sheriff Ike Hardy was on the trail of a pair of vicious killers who had robbed a stage and shot the two passengers. The trouble was that Ike was no tracker, but when he encountered a buckskin-clad mountaineer who could tail anyone or anything, he thought he had a good chance of catching the killers. However, he had been led into a trap and the killers were bent on adding a kidnap to their list of crimes. It was goingg to be a long and bloody struggle before Colt justice was done.
