Clint Adams's friend, bounty hunter Daniel Miller, has a knack for getting into trouble. This time, he's followed an outlaw into the Amazon jungles of Peru in search of Incan gold, and vanished. Accompanied by a sassy spitfire of a reporter - with an appetite for one-on-one interviews - Clint braves the southbound journey to find his friend.

What he finds is Miller's bounty: a British thief who - with his gold and an army of hired killers he calls "constables" - lords it over several poor Peruvian villages like a monarch. And it's up to the Gunsmith to dethrone him...
