Complete Poems of Cavafy (1983) [Collection]

Summary (From the publisher):

This volume presents Cavafy's complete poems: sixty-three newly translated poems have been added to the edition first published in 1961.

Recognition of Cavafy's greatness has grown steadily since World War I, when E. M. Forster became a champion of his work. He is a master at presenting a scene, an intense feeling, or an idea (often ironic) in direct, unornamented verse. Many of the poems are erotic and openly homosexual.
