iblist.com user synopsis
A writer, of sorts, returns to the sea-side village were he used to spend his vacations as a boy. Past and present intermingle, creating an embroidery of events with a few surprises. Along the way, we learn what has become of some of the childhood friends, what life had in store for them and how the survivors cope with loss and old age.
There is a gem on every page, either in the language or the ideas, the characters or the comment on life.
