Summary :

While a prostitute is abducted by a monk, Axl Borja is hired by the Cardinal to rescue the Vatican's missing money. This is to be his last hit, though he hasn't discussed matters with his gun yet.
He ends up on Samsara, the giant prayer-wheel in space, which the Dalai Llama built to put all Earth's refugees, but PacForce arrived first, all on the trail of the missing kinderwhore.
Reminiscent of the kind of cyberpunk satire used in Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson, yet with a driving prose and attitude, and the slightly fantasy styled worlds, all Grimwood's own.
Excellent characterisation, from Axl, to the vampiric Cardinal, to Rinpoche the monkey, and an attitude to music in novels like Jeff Noon.
