The long, bloody summer of 1940. After Dunkirk, England stands alone, and the Third Reich rules supreme over Europe.

Out in the Atlantic, the men of the U-boats, flushed with the arrogance of easy victory, mass to begin their slaughter of the shipping that provides Britain's life-line. And Baldur Wolz - now famous as the Sea Wolf - is icily determined that his U-55 will find glory or destruction in those waters of death.
