Summary

Jim Phelps gathers together the necessary IMF personnel to enact his plan to stop a Communist scheme to destroy the economy of a fledgling Democratic island in the Caribbean called Esperanza.
The scheme involves flooding the island with perfect counterfeit currency, the subsequent 'Money Explosion' wrecking its economy allowing the Communist oppostion to take over in the ensuing chaos.
