The Race With No Name had disappeared a billion years ago. Their ruins were scattered throughout the Galaxy, but on Mindalla there was also a legend. Somewhere, it said, in that planet's Great Swamp was "the most beautiful city in the Galaxy." The legend failed to mention that it was also the most deadly.
