When five alien visitors from the planet Fixipuddle crash-land their UFO in Hamlet, Vermont, on Christmas Eve, they're in for a shock. Believing that Earth is ruled by an evil dictator named "Santa Claws," the kindly aliens scheme to free the slaves (the elves) from the Fortress of Fear (the workshop). They start by kidnapping the Santa-suited Mayor Grass—and it's up to Miss Earth's class to save him!

Lois Kennedy the Third and her dog, Reebok, lead the all-girl Tattletales Club on a rescue mission. But first the Tattletales have a decision to make: Will they ask their hated male rivals, the Copycats Club, to lend a hand?
