Summary

New staff arrives at the Monastery, but they seem far from professional. From the new Priest, to the housekeeper and the young man assigned to assist Brother Cadfael, they seem far from in the right place.
Many people complain about the new priest, and when he is found dead in the mill pond there are many who could be the suspect.
It is left to Brother Cadfael to determine the truth.
