Tragedy and betrayal have given a fourteen-year-old boy and a golden-scaled draconic K'da poet-warrior a single fate. Draycos saved Jack's life, so Jack agreed to do the same and became Draycos's symbiotic host. United, they each vowed to help the other find the justice they so desperately seek.

But Jack and Draycos, the most unlikely duo of heroes in a galaxy teeming with cruel and colorful villians, need more than each other to get the justice they both deserve. And joining up with a mercenary group seems to be the only way they can find the information they need.
