Five-year-old Pelle-Göran goes unwillingly to visit grandmother while mama is recuperating from an accident. Adventures on the farm help his apprehensions to disappear and when he returns home he takes the doctor one of grandmother’s fine spettecakes, promised if the doctor would make mama well.
