(From the publisher):
When we meet sixteen-year-old Benni, he's entering the fifth boarding school of his short academic career. He's been kicked out of the other four. Paralyzed on his left side and a veteran failure at certain subjects, Benni doesn't have much hope that he'll make it at this new school. But all that changes when he meets his roomate, Janosch, and the motley band of friends that follow him everywhere. Together, Benni and his pals are in a hurry to figure out the world of girls, booze, sex, philosophy, literature, music, and anything else they can think of. Their needs take them everywhere - the local sex clinic, the girls' dorm, city strip clubs - as Benni lets us in on the "crazy life" he figures is the only way to deal with the crazy world and who he is.
