Summary
(From the publisher):
A celebration of the aurora borealis.
Ulaq, an arctic fox, is enchanted by the northern lights. So are his friends Seal, Wolf, Polar Bear, Caribou, Rabbit, and Snowy Owl. But just what are those glowing bands of color? Ulaq travels across the tundra to find out, and discovers that everyone sees them differently. To Seal, they look like the sun shining on the backs of huge schools of fish. To Wolf, they're the campfires of distant hunters. To Caribou, they're swaying ghosts. Ultimately, Ulaq decides that the northern lights were put in the sky simply to light up the long, dark night with their magic and beauty.
