The goddess Sala is performing the spell which will close the portal between the worlds. And Zelia and Ares watch with relief -- at last order can be restored. But as the doors slam shut, there is a fearful explosion and the enchantment twists out of true. A hole is blasted through the planes, creating a vacuum through which time slips. As mortal time leaks for earth, only Zelia and Ares can prevent the world from being swallowed by the abyss.
