They called them the sleepers - in the 1980s. Bodies in cryogenic coffins. Not dead. Just frozen. A sleeping army of frozen men, awakened only for war, ready to kill. Suddenly, it seemed 21st century Earth was an alien environment, their country had no use for them except as a fighting machine, and science had made freezing obsolete. They could be duplicated now.
