IBList user synopsis
The human race is fighting a desperate interstellar war against an unknown enemy in the BD-20 system. Orbiting a nearby red dwarf is an artificially planoformed world whose inhabitants appear to possess no advanced technology; they are nearly mindless herders of mindless herbivores. Are they a regressed form of the Enemy? Dorthy Yoshida, an astronomer with a telepathic Talent she resents, is sent to join the survey team to find out.
